Ownership Structure

Buyer Security:

1. Investor contracts with UK PLC company with UK based directors
    
2. UK PLC is registered with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in the UK
    
3. Investor has 100% ownership and control of their forest assets
    
4. Qualify for UK Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPP's) providing a tax shelter

Paperwork:

• Ownership of your investment is held via a Land Lease or a Sale & Purchase Agreement depending on plantation location. These contracts detail all your legal ownership rights to grow, maintain and harvest your trees for the duration of the investment term on the designated plantation.

• You must enter into a timber management agreement with skilled forestry professionals for the maintenance and management of your trees for the duration of the investment. Clients will be provided with a list of local forestry management companies and are entitled to select one at theor own discretion. The list will include the current on- site plantation managers.

• You will further receive a timber ownership certificate correspnding to the above S&P or Lease Agreement which outlines the following;

• Unique tagging code 
• Number of trees purchased
• Tree species
• Division & estate
• Year tree was planted
• Investment start date

• Your trees can be identified on the plantation by;

• Individual ID tags
• GPS coordinates
• Grid mapping

Further Key Points include:

• Owner retains choice on harvest dates

• Owner can cancel the contract on notice and appoint an alternative forestry management company  

• Owner retains control on all major decisions affecting trees, on advice from the management company

• Our plantation partner will offer to buy back trees from year 3 onwards if your circumstances change
