Our Agarwood Investments are acquired and held in exactly the same way as our Teak Investments.
Our plantation partner’s seven year agarwood investments offer an exciting opportunity to investors who wish to benefit from the high returns of sustainable forestry, but without the usual long term wait.This is possible because the aquilaria tree, from where agarwood is derived, is a short rotation tree crop and can be harvested for commercial sale as early as year six.
The plantations are based on our partner’s estates in Sri Lanka and in Thailand.
The plantations in are managed as a joint venture with Thai Orchid Laboratories (TOL), one of the worlds leading plantation managers, bio- technical engineers and volume providers of seedlings and elite plant tissue cultures.
With Science at the forefront at either location, our plantation partner ensures that only the very best quality crop is cultivated, maximising investor returns.
